Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We do not disclose buyer's information to 3rd parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of contents of your shopping cart once you have selected items. The only time a customer receives emails from us is when an order is placed, queries, and rarely complaints or special offers and new products are available.
The type of information collected includes your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and credit/debit card details. No sensitive information will ever be collected from you.
The information we hold will be maintained accurately and we will only disclose this information to 3rd parties for delivery purposes and payment collections.
Payment
We accept all Debit and Credit Cards (2.7% charge on business credit cards) on the website; BACS or Cheque payments can be made by prior arrangement only and payable to Sheerspeed Shelters Ltd. All prices including delivery are subject to the current VAT rate of 20%. Please note, all our payments are settled in GBP currency only.
Upon receipt of payment we aim to dispatch goods as soon as possible, subject to availability.
All goods remain the property of Sheerspeed Shelters Ltd., until full payment is received.
Delivery
Standard service is 2/3 days and we also offer Next Day delivery for UK Mainland for items available in stock (working days only). We can offer a before 9:30, 10:30 or 12 delivery service and Saturday delivery upon request.
Important Notice: Please note, some of our products are built upon ordering and the lead time on manufactured items are 2/3 days turn around. If it is a stock item which is readily available, we will dispatch immediately via our Next day courier service. If you require an item urgently please Contact us to ensure your order is processed to enable us to prioritise.
During Bank holidays, Easter and Christmas holidays orders will be processed upon return to work depending on the shut down dates.
Please note, delivery excludes duties and taxes for Europe and International shipping. Duties and taxes on shipments are legal requirements that must be settled before your shipment can be delivered.
For orders received and paid for by 4pm (Monday to Friday-Sat delivery only upon request and will cost more),we aim to dispatch your order the same day - subject to availability. However to achieve this, a Telephone call must be made to us, to confirm this service is required or we cannot guarantee dispatch the same day (During busy periods, Bank, Easter & Christmas holidays there might be delays for 5 days or more days due to factory shutdown).
Most of our products are normally bulky/heavy (+10kg) for these we use Tuffnells/TNT Courier Services - Standard or Express delivery available. Delivery prices are not included in the item prices and are calculated upon receipt of orders. For smaller items, less than 5kg, we may use Royal Mail via 1st Class Service.
Please note: However, our couriers are experiencing delays with delivery times in some parts of the Country, Europe & Internationally. This is due to high volumes of shipments, Covid-19 closures & increased border controls. Therefore, delivery times are not guaranteed so please allow at least 48 hours before contacting us. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
Shipping goods to Europe, Northern Ireland & Internationally
Shipping costs quoted are for freight only and all shipments are accompanied by a commercial invoice clearly indicating Incoterms which specifies who is responsible for paying for and managing the shipment, insurance, documentation, customs clearance, and other logistical activities. Prices exclude any Duties & Taxes and are payable at Country of arrival. An EORI number and VAT number are required for all shipping paperwork, if you do not provide these you may incur extra costs.
Bespoke/Custom Printed Products
Custom printed products will be delivered within 7-14 working days from receipt of approved artwork and deposit. Balance payment is required in full, prior to dispatch. All deliveries MUST be signed for as proof of delivery.
We hope that you are delighted with your purchase. Cancellation of bespoke/custom printed goods deposit/payment will not be refunded. You will also be liable for any other cost that may have been incurred up to 90% of the final price agreed for the printed goods. If however any goods received are either defective or unsatisfactory, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone, email or in writing within 24 hours of receipt reporting any damage or indicating if a replacement or refund is required.

Cancellation Policy
In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, You have the right to cancel any order you have made with us on our website within 14 days, starting the day of receipt of the goods by yourself or the place where they have been delivered to. This can be done by sending us an email, letter, or giving us a call, notifying us of your intention to cancel. Exercising your right to cancel is deemed to have been made on the day you give us notice of cancellation in whatever form. We will confirm we have received your cancellation notice and of any subsequent actions to be taken where required. This right does not extend to trade contracts or bespoke goods where we make your order to your specific requirements.
Following cancellation, you will return the goods to us at your earliest convenience or within 14 days of starting from the day after we have confirmed we have received your cancellation notice. The cost of returning the goods is borne by you, the customer.
If you intend to cancel, then you, the customer, are required to return the goods in their original condition and packaging to which you received them and the goods must be unused. We have the right to deduct an amount from any reimbursement if you have opened, used or in any way diminished the value of the goods by handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function. What is deemed handling beyond necessary is decided on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have any questions relating to what could be deemed handling beyond necessary prior to your order.
We will then refund you the cost of goods paid at the time of your order, excluding delivery or collection costs, no later than 14 days starting the day after we have received the goods back in our possession, or from the date you send us proof of postage or similar that the goods are on their way back to us. We will notify you when we have received the goods back in our possession or confirm receipt of your return proof of postage. Any refunds due under this section or for any reason will be made using the same payment method that you used when ordering the Goods.
Please note, there is a 20% re-stocking charge for returned goods and 10% cancellation fee on orders above amounts of £4,000. Goods will be inspected upon return and must be in unused condition and in original packaging - once accepted a refund will be issued to the value of the product minus 20% re-stocking fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable and goods to be returned at customers cost.
Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, failure of any communications, telecommunications or computer system, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction, therefore all our product are covered by a twelve (12) month guarantee against faulty workmanship and/or operational faults when used in the appropriate manner advised. In the case of the goods being faulty or defective you must notify Sheerspeed Shelters within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We will ask you to provide photographic evidence of the fault prior to the item being returned to us for inspection. The cost of returning the goods is borne by you, the customer. If, following inspection, the product is found to be faulty due to manufacturers defect, the cost of returns will be reimbursed to the customer and the goods replaced.
Repairs and Cleaning
We offer a full repair and cleaning service at a charge depending on condition/year of goods, irrespective of where the tent/shelter was purchased. Please contact us for details of collecting and returning.
